Introduction

Ocular brachytherapy or radiotherapy using radioactive plaques has been utilized for many years to manage ocular tumors, prevent eye discharge, and preserve functional vision. After the radioactive plaque is placed, the patient will be admitted to the hospital. Upon completion of the prescribed radiation dose, the plaque will be removed from the eye.
